Convert clonezilla backup into a bootable image

I'm working with a clonezilla backup, I want to boot that system from a USB drive.

I searched everywhere and apparently it is possible to merge all the aa, ab, ac parts there are into a single img file that I could then mount and boot from.

However most of the guides are written with gzip in mind while this backup uses bzip2 parts instead.

I'm running ubuntu with partclone installed and tried multiple things, from the different guides I found (https://serverfault.com/questions/35639/extracting-files-from-clonezilla-images, https://blog.christosoft.de/2012/05/mount-clonezilla-image-to-restore-single-file-browse/, https://www.colin.geek.nz/mount-partclone-image/) but nothing works, it always shows an error. (I can't seem to find the log file also).

The files are mmcblk0p2.ext4-ptcl-img.bz2.aa to ae.
